This item ships on a USB portable 2.5" HDD and is intended for use on softmodded Wii or WiiU consoles running the Homebrew channel and USBLoader or other Wii launcher.
These 4TB portable USB3 drives come formatted FAT32 and ready for use on a softmodded Wii, with file and folder structure set up as preferred by Nintendont and USBLoader EX. Other loaders may require slight changes to folder structure.
Note: USB3 external drives are USB2 compatible, but will often struggle with low voltage from the Wii USB ports. If you experience any issues with poor speeds or the drives occasionally blinking offline, we highly recommend the use of a USB-Y Cable.
